From July 25th until September 4th (2012) Lego Brickation is hitting four spots around the US! One of those spots is in South Lake Tahoe located at 1001 Heavenly Village Way, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150!
So what is this Lego Brickation? According to The Shops at Heavenly Village:
Opening July 25 in shop #8 (on Highway 5) 10-8pm. Open 7 days a week thru September 4. The LEGO Summer Brickation will showcase the best of what the LEGO group has to offer. It will enable children and adults to benefit from a fun, hands-on experience of building and creating LEGO bricks and products. Different activity areas will be featured, providing families enjoyment in everything from building, games and challenges, to photo opportunities with life size LEGO models. Activity areas will include DUPLO® Boat, Build Tables, Creation Station, Race Ramps and LEGO Challenge Zone. Other notable experiences offered will be a LEGO South Lake Tahoe Mosaic, along with Life Size LEGO Models and a LEGO Cityscape.

Love Legos! I so enjoy my kiddos playing together with their Legos. My 4 yr olds, twins, just used their “Nana” money to buy the girly pink Lego “friends.” My son is forever building lego sets to enter in the Lego Magazine. My oldest, she’s preteen, so she acts like she is too older for Lego, but I’ve caught her “helping” her younger sisters! 🙂
Forgot to mention that my Hubby’s dad, worked for Lego, and he would bring Hubby home all the sets! My Hubby had a Lego track he designed all around his room.
Lego’s have always been a favorite in our household. I love it when my hubby and all our boys sit on the family room floor building lego sets & fun creations together. I always see them smiling, laughing & making funny noises & acting out their creations. We have definitely made many memories building legos together and I look forward to many more to come!
We had LEGOs when I was little, but I don’t remember any special moments of play time. Now that my oldest is big enough to play with them, we’re building memories by playing together. He LOVES LEGOS. We have several of the CITY collection and his favorite is the firehouse, because firemen are his favorite heroes. We’ve built the trucks over and over. 🙂
I remember Legos everything and trying to design multiple things at the same time.
I always remember building a Lego house over and over again – my favorite part was building the roof (&getting it to fit!) and adding trees in the garden. LOL
