So remember how last week was supposed to be crazy? Well, it was even weirder than I thought it would be. I ended up getting severely dehydrated and basically was banished to the couch for the week. Then I got better with just enough time to go to my retreat. So this week is a huge catch up week for me!
This week is a crazy week! Part of the crazy is that I have been sick for a few days and while I am planning on going to the doctor tomorrow, who knows how long until I am tip top. So between that, Bible study, Awana and women’s retreat this weekend, I have no idea really what this week is going to look like!
But I am going to try and plan.
Monday: Dinner being brought by a friend (Love you Sara!)
Tuesday: Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli
Wednesday: Shredded Chicken, Rice, Broccoli
Thursday: New York Steaks with Chili Beans and Broccoli
Friday: Hamburger Helper with Broccoli
It is once again time to plan this week’s meals! I am not feeling very inspired this week so I am going to make a point of finding a few new recipes for next week. But let us plan this week first and get it out of the way.
Monday: Ham, Latkes, Broccoli
Tuesday: Crispy Chicken Thighs, Broccoli, Mashed Potatoes, Buttery Rolls
Wednesday: Corned Beef, Potatoes, Buttery Rolls, Broccoli
Thursday: Ham and Cauliflower Alfredo Bake
Friday: Left overs!
So what are you eating this week? Maybe it will inspire me!
Can you believe that it is already 2011? I am going to try to focus on emptying my freezer and pantry this month. There isn’t a lot there but this week I think I am not going to really have to buy anything much more than eggs and milk!
So here we are at the end of 2010! Can you believe it? Because I can’t! So here is my last meal plan of the year with no flourish of grandeur;).
Monday: latkes, eggs with ham and broccoli
Tuesday: salmon, couscous, broccoli
Wednesday: ham and cauliflower alfredo bake
Thursday: Christmas at a friend’s
Friday: chili bean potatoes
So here we sit the week before Christmas. I don’t know about you but I have a ton to do. I want to keep things super easy for me and for the babysitters when they are here! Then there is always the quandary on what to do for Christmas Eve aster we get back from church.
Monday: Ribeye Steaks, Chili and Broccoli, Buttery Rolls
Tuesday: Appetizer Dinner! Spanikopita, Little Smokies, Potstickers, Apples and Brie
Wednesday: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli
Thursday: Corned Beef, Fried Potatoes, Broccoli
Friday: Turkey and Pasta with Broccoli
Ahh, these last couple of weeks have been super crazy!!! Between my dad dying, the kids all getting sick for Thanksgiving, my dad’s funeral… life and meals have been nuts. And this week I am out the next 2 evenings and then off to Denver to go to Red Robin’s Kids Cook Off! So I am going to try and regain a little control over life with some meal planning;).
Monday: Spaghetti, Broccoli
Tuesday: Quesadillas, Broccoli
Wednesday: Fast food
Thursday: Rice with Shredded Pork and Broccoli
Friday: Latkes, Scrambled Eggs w/Spinach
This is a crazy week, leading into a crazy week. So I am strapping in for a bumpy ride!
Monday: Pork Roast, Stove Top Stuffing, Broccoli
Tuesday: French Toast and Scrambled Eggs
Wednesday: Chicken and Spinach Pasta in a Butter Garlic Sauce
Thursday: Shredded Chicken and Spinach in Rice with Cheese
Friday: Chili Mac and Cheese with Broccoli
The weather has been bouncing around between 85 (Friday) and in the 60’s today;). So I am a little befuddle as in what to make! But Vons has some wonderful sales on meat this week!!!
