Starting off, did you hear that NBC passed on David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman? After the whole costume snafoo, I am not all that surprised. But I think someone will pick up at least the pilot. (Entertainment Weekly)

Apparently Newt Gingrich is going to announce his candidacy for the office of President on Wednesday (according to the Wall Street Journal) and I wonder if he is serious. While I have a fondness for Newt Gingrich, I look at this with quite a bit of hesitation. I wonder if there is a chance in heck of him getting either the nomination or elected. Newt is not really palatable to the country as a whole so does he really have a serious chance? Or is that the point?
Is he running as a palate adjuster? Doesn’t it make people like Palin or Daniels seem much more main stream? Is he just wanting to make sure that issues that are important to him are discussed? Â Is this even a serious campaign?
I really don’t know what to think about all of this. How about you? Would you use your primary vote on him even though Newt has a slim chance of winning? Do you think he is running a serious campaign that is aiming at winning? Or is Newt going to continue his bomb throwing ways?

Do you remember the Smithsonian Museum asking about the games that everyone thought should be in the museum!!! They have posted the 80 winners! Did your make the cut? I love that Donkey Kong and Pac-man are on the list! I think it is fitting that Portal found a spot too! (via Smithsonian)
We went last year with all 4 kids and had a ball!!! Heroes here in Fresno had Darth Vader and Clone Troopers wandering the lines! The kids loved going up to them. NerdPud couldn’t figure out if she wanted to hug Darth or hide from him;).
Remember that this is aimed at kids so if you expect to see only hard core comics out there, well you will be disappointed! This has some points. 1) Get kids into comics! 2) Encourage kids to read. 3)Have fun!!!!
