Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaner Review and Giveaway!

I have a new cleaning love. It is Pledge Multi Surface in the Lavendar Scent. I got a bottle of this to review and I thought it was going to be fine but not impressive. Well, I was shocked. I went from the piano to the tv to the bookshelf quickly and without having to change cleaners (which I love). This isn’t just a polish but actually a cleaner that really gets the dirt and residue off surfaces. It also has an anti-static ingredient that really seems to help keep surfaces, especially like the tv screen, from getting dirty again. And I love anything that means I don’t have to clean as much. I really liked the lid too. You have to twist it to line up before you can spray it so there aren’t any accidental dispersments and since I have little munchings about and I tend to put things in my pocket to go from one room to another that is very good.

I highly recommend this product to clean all your surfaces. The Pledge site also has a coupon you can go get. So go try or ….

For Today 6/1

Outside my window… The sun is shining brightly and summer is in full effect.

I am thinking… that my body is a traitor;). I want the lump in the roof of my mouth to go away and my injection site to quit bleeding.

From the learning rooms… We are hitting clocks with NerdPie and multiplying by 10’s and 100’s for NerdBug. I also hope to start How to Study Your Bible for Kids (Discover 4 Yourself® Inductive Bible Studies for Kids)this week.

I am thankful for… My wonderful husband who takes wonderful care of me and the kids.

From the kitchen… NerdDad is making pan chocolate chip cookies and taco baked potatoes tonight!

I am wearing… a pink t-shirt and blue shorts

I am reading… New World Kids: The Parents’ Guide to Creative Thinking for a book review

I am hoping… my oldest quits fighting the homework.

I am praying… to start feeling better and get things done!

Around the house… I have copious amounts of laundry and I need to clean my loft.

One of my favorite things… dark chocolate.

A few plans for the rest of the week… I have a MOPs girl’s morning and lunch with NerdDad and some friends!

Go read some more DayBooks!

Supreme Education

Since the President is appointing a Supreme Court Justice it is a great time to find out information on previous justices. In that vein I recommend going over to The Stimulist and read about 5 of the most surprising appointments. I don’t agree with the degree of surprise on some of them but it is a great read! I personally don’t think that Black and his KKK membership really was all that shocking in relation to FDR’s appointment of him.

Buffy Without Joss?

What would a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie be without Joss Whedon? Or be without the story he built up over these years? Apparently the original movie director is thinking about doing a remake without Joss. I think now that Buffy has built up a large following (of which I am one) they can’t go backwards and flush all that Joss Whedon has built. What do you think? Will it survive without him?

LemonHead Kidz Review

I have a lot of hair. I also have 2 daughters: 1 has thin baby hair and 1 has thick hair. That is a lot of hair to try to wrangle in 1 household and a lot of different types of hair. So I am always searching for the perfect hair clips that will hold all of our hair and (hope against hope) will stay in the baby’s hair. So you can imagine how excited I was when I received products from LemonHead Kidz!

They sent me a great clipeez with a beautiful yellow flower on it. This I really liked! The clip had a rubber block in it that made sure it didn’t slip out of anyone’s hair. I was able to use this in all 3 of our hair and it looked adorable! They have all different types of flowers, bows and butterflies to choose from for really great clips.
I also received a bandeez hairband. This was a beautiful piece of ribbon that gathered in the back to help secure it in your hair. One of the key parts of the bandeez is a strip that grips on your hair to prevent it from falling out. I can say it stayed in the 5 year olds but didn’t work that well in mine. The strip grabbed little pices of hair so it wouldn’t fall out but it didn’t hold very much of my hair back at all.
So I have to say that while the bandeez didn’t work great for me, the clipeez were great. So go over to LemonHead Kidz and check them out!
