We recently got a chance to review Eco Princess Shampoo and Conditioner with my 2 little girls.
I admit it. I usually use one of those 3 in 1’s on the girls just like I do on my boys. Which means we also use a lot of detangler;).
I was very excited to try this mom created product. I sent my girls in with these new products and they giggled with excitement all the way. I have to say that I was impressed with their hair when they came out! Not only did I not have to use any detangler, there was no build up. Normally, my 9 year old has issues with build up. But with this we had none of that! Her hair was light and manageable! Of course it all smelled so good! But it wasn’t perfumey at all. There citrus essential oils that I am sure help it work but also lightly fragrance it.
All the Ecoprincess products are sulfate-free, paraben-free, vegan, toxin-free, and cruelty-free. You can get these products online! I loved them and recommend them!
This review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own. I received items from Eco Princess for the purpose of this review.
Is it just me or is life crazy? I just got back from a huge conference and I can’t believe things are already starting up for the fall semester. Given all that, I can’t be the only one running out of time! It seems as if Proctor and Gamble is trying to help a girl out!

Ok, NerdDad thought this dress would be cute and I got some approval on Twitter… But I am not sure. I just got it today. So what do you all think? Cute enough as a day dress for the Type A Conference? Of course I might brush my hair and switch the socks for some sandals;).
I love shampoo and conditioner samples!!! This Fructis is supposed to fix all that damage that you have done to your hair! This is a great way to try it out and to travel;). I don’t know how long the samples will be available so hurry!
My girls are flower girls this weekend and so I had to go out and get them shoes. They have adorable ivory dresses with wreaths. Rather than get a cream shoe that they would never wear again I decided to get a metallic sandal they could wear all summer. But I wanted them to match and that is a challenge because the baby is still in “toddler shoes” where as NerdPie is a
“youth” (yes, incorrigible youths;). So…
I originally was going for silver but we all fell in love with these. They have about 1/2 inch wedge on them. The girls are both excited that they have a shoe with a heel, mind you it is only 1/2 inch;). NerdPie said, “I like these! They are high!” But worry not, the 4 year old will not fall from her “stilts”. I caught NerdPud walking around in my 3 1/2 inch wedges (successfully) before she turned 2.
It is once again time for the free Target Beauty Bag promotion!!! I always love this deal. You always get a great bag full of goodies to try or take on trips.
Pop over to the Target Style Facebook page. First like the page and fill out the form! Remember, this is always super popular so if it takes a bit to load just have patience. It is usually worth the wait!
Nothing makes me happier than a well timed freebie!!! This next week I am heading off to Blissdom. So I was stoked to come upon this freebie for a free travel size product! It is only good in stores and until February 20. 2012 so hurry and redeem it!!!
As for me, I am picking mine up tomorrow and it is going right in my suitcase!
Stomach bugs are a nasty thing. What makes them nastier is when they hit big families! Usually it isn’t just one person who gets it and everyone else feels fine. That is why I try to keep a stock of supplies just in case it wreaks havoc upon us!
I remember back 6 ½ years ago. I had a 2 year old and a not quite 3 month old. My dear, sweet husband had to go to a class that work had paid for down in Los Angeles for 4 days. 24 hours before my loving husband left I got a stomach bug that was so bad I could barely walk. When he left I was still at the tablespoon full of water at a time because 2 would make me throw up;). So as life would have it, by the time I was barely able to have a quarter cup of water, the 2 year old had his first bout of the stomach flu! Poor NerdDad missed it;). So that meant that we were getting by on water and soda crackers for days until I felt I could venture to the store upright with both kids. Needless to say that with the sudden onset of the stomach flu (it was only September) I was not prepared at all! And it being my first experience with my own little one, I wasn’t prepared for what he would need.
I vowed it would never happen again! Now I always make sure to keep Pedialyte, soda crackers, and broth on hand. I do not skimp on the brand when it comes to Pedialyte, it is just too important. When we first started buying it I would get the big bottles because it is cheaper by the ounce but we never finished it. My kids were also kind of thrown off by the fruit punch because they don’t normally drink it. So I was stoked to find the tetra pack in the apple juice flavor! It is the perfect serving size and cools down quickly at the first sign of stomach issues!
So are you stocked up in case of stomach bugs? Here are some essentials for a well-stocked medicine chest from Pedialyte!
