Looks gorgeous, doesn’t it? It didn’t taste gorgeous. I finally got around to trying The Elephant Bar a few months ago. It was so disappointing! I got the soup and split lettuce wraps with a friend and something was missing from both. That something was seasoning. Salt and pepper would have been a good start but I would have hoped for some developed flavors. If you are giving me “world cuisine”, I expect world spices! Maybe this was an off night but I have heard this is the norm. Elephant Bar, I welcome that you try and change my mind!
Yes, I am bragging but bear with me;). I had a $15 off $15 for Lane Bryant and this is what I got. But it gets better;). Bot pieces were on clearance so I only paid $3.25!
I took this picture at my Women’s Retreat that was in Monterey back in January. All I think when I see this is the song All is Well. And with my last couple of weeks I need to keep that refreshment!
CNN has a great piece about girls and clothes. It is by LZ Granderson and called Parents, don’t dress your girls like tramps. He says what I have been screaming for years! Is it Abercrombie and Fitch’s fault that they have tried selling push up bras to 6 year olds? Well, yes and no. They made the poor decision to market it but only because there is a market.
Why do so many parents either dress their girls like tarts or allow to dress like tarts? These kids are well, kids! They are dumb about many things. We don’t let them work or live on their own. Why do parents give them cart blanche when it comes to clothing and sexuality?

Ok, the only thing that is going to make this a Tax Day Meal Plan is the date it is being set for. If this were really a Tax Day plan we would do nothing but eat cardboard and bitter tears;).

Tuesday: quesadillas, carrots
Wednesday: pasta alfredo with ham and spinach
Thursday: Seder Dinner w/ grilled chicken thighs, matzo ball soup, broccoli, etc
Friday: Mac&Cheese

So this started off as just my answer to Eighty MPH Mom’s Monday Mingle. But it is really really about the Extreme Couponing show on TLC:). Before I got it posted here I already have a negative comment on YouTube;). So that raises the question, do you think that I am off base?
